About the Event

A Weekend Built
for Real Skills

WPA vintage campsite illustration

A two-night campout for LFC Cadets, their dads, and men of the congregation at GR North Council Campground in Allegan, Michigan — June 11–13, 2026.

Designed to give Camporee-eligible boys hands-on practice with the skills they'll need in Alberta, and to give younger Cadets a taste of what the International Camporee is like. Skill sessions run Friday and Saturday — archery, riflery, orienteering, and shelter building — each led by a counselor.

Beyond the skill sessions, the boys run the camp. Cooking, KP, fire duty, and camp setup are theirs to manage — the same expectations they'll face at the International. Bible study opens and closes each day. Campfire each night. The club covers all costs — nothing to pay, just show up.
